Kelly Science and Clinical is currently seeking candidates for a Chemical Lab Technician position at a chemical manufacturing company located in Killeen, TX.u00a0u00a0nOverall responsibilities of the position will include preparing chemical solutions, testing of products as part of quality assurance and handling sensitive analytical equipment by following Standard Operating Procedures. The ideal candidate must be able to interpret and analyze data with accuracy, compile results and prepare technical reports in a timely manner.nMain Responsibilities:nntUtilization and maintenance of sensitive laboratory instrumentation (i.e. Ion Chromatography, Titrations, Mass Spectrometry, Graphite Furnace, HPLC)u00a0ntFollow laboratory safety protocols ensuring a clean and safe working environment.u00a0u00a0ntEnsure that all laboratory quality improvements and administrative regulations are followed.ntOperates under company guidelines for professional conduct and under general supervision and receives direction on topics and issues.ntReviews a variety of reports to examine compliance, audit operations, results of documentation, ensure operational efficiency and quality, and demonstrate compliance with internal and external quality standards.ntEnsures compliance with department/company policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.ntAbility to respond quickly and prioritize activities to meet a changing production schedule.ntWork closely with and support other laboratory members within department to improve operations.ntBe able to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced environment.ntAwareness of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standardsntProficiency with MS Office, laboratory software applications and database systems.nnPreferred Qualifications/Education:nntAssociates or Bacheloru2019s degree in Chemistry or related sciencentThree plus years of experience working in a laboratory within a manufacturing industry is preferred, but fresh BS Chemistry graduates will also be consideredntOil, pharmaceutical and food industry experienceu00a0is a plusnnThis is a temp to hire position with a pay range of $19-20 per hour. The work schedule is a rotating day shift, 6am-6pm, 3 on 4 off, then 4 on 3 off.
