Job Summary and Expectations If you aspire to be a General Manager, Group President , or CEO , and you are willing to travel globally, learn as you go, and receive direct feedback from the Company CEO, we have the right challenge for you: In this role, you report to the CEO and are heavily focused on experiential learning. You will be involved in all aspects of running a business while working closely with General Managers and leaders of all functional areas Key areas of training will be identified ; however, the ability to accept unprecedented uncertainty in assignments is essential , as the sequence and location of projects will be determined based on the best opportunities for learning at that time In other words, this position is best suited for someone who is able and wants to learn at locations across the globe (50-75% travel). You will conduct projects for and receive direct coaching and feedback from the CEO. Projects will span multiple business units and locations, and all functional areas of the organization We expect you to learn and apply lessons as you progress through the program. The projects you participate in will focus on growing the business and fixing problems. For example, you may be asked to lead a team for M&A project; analyze a production issue and make recommendations for improvement; assess a market, define the gaps, and make an acquisition recommendation; review a supply chain process and identify best practices Upon completion of the training (no less than 18 months), you will be expected to relocate to a position and location determined by the organization, so your geographical flexibility is key to applying to this role Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical (e.g., chemistry, chemical engineering, food science) or business management field MBA is preferred Commercial start-up/turn-around experience is a strong plus Management experience in a global setting is preferred, but not required We are looking for you, when your skills and personality set you up for success for above tasks: This typically means that you are able to work self-sufficiently with a high bias for action Due to the nature of the projects you need to thrive with making decisions under pressure, and without having complete information As Sensient is a highly commercial organization, we need you to embrace this mindset by showing us you are driven by successful outcomes, and have a strong desire to learn and apply lessons learned You are highly cooperative and adaptive to work with people across the globe and from multicultural backgrounds.
