Starting Pay $22.44 per hour

With an increase to $23.84 at 3 months, and an increase to $25.25 at 6 months and another increase to $28.05 at one (1) year.

Shift Differential of $1.00 for 2nd and 3rd shifts

Bonus

Qualified applicants can receive a $3,500 bonus!

$1,500 at 30-day anniversary!

$1,000 at 6-month anniversary!

$1,000 at one year anniversary!

Work Shift: Monday-Friday

2nd Shift (weekends and overtime as needed)

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for conducting daily testing, data analysis, instrument calibration and maintenance to ensure the production of safe, wholesome, quality products that meet our product specifications and regulatory requirements. All team members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.

REQUIREMENTS:

Willing and able to develop sound sampling protocol.

Able and willing to work in cross-functional teams to achieve goal.

Able and willing to scan or input into computer system for data analysis

Ability to follow formulations on computer and accurate record and report food safety or product information

Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science or related field or appropriate combination of education and experience preferred.

Minimum of 1-year experience in the Fresh Meats industry required or other QA type experience, preferred.

Must be able and willing to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Able and willing to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.

Able and willing to identify and problem solve.

Ability to perform basic math functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and division.

Must be able and willing to lift up to 70 lbs.

Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable

Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor.
